I love this. Everything about it made my day. Especially, “Sweet Lord Jesus in Heaven and on Earth at the very same time.” If you can witness the Real Presence while being tempted to cuss…#SaintLevel100.
Laughing. So. Hard. Love the cause, of course. And it’s just too fun to hear your voice. You sound like all of hubby’s relatives from upstate NY.

You nailed it. There’s been so much negativity about this and, like you, I agree with making a donation to an organization who doesn’t use stem cells, but also agree that you are allowed to have fun. (Also, if it’s water you’re worried about conserving, we should probably start with not defecating into clean water – that’s the definition of waste.)
I had so much anger in my heart about a few negative people who were railing against this challenge that I prayed earlier today asking God to remove the anger from my heart and this video is the answer to that prayer.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You are so NEWYORK!!!. The ice bucket challenge was awesome.
Love your voice. Can Dan sing, and if he can, why not do a duet??? Your message helped me today. When you said God has a plan for you. I am going through some tough times right now in my life, I know, who isn’t….. Just listening to your recorded message brought me out of the anxiety and the fear that was creeping up on me. Thanks Heather! God Bless you and Dan.
After reading Jenny’s comment I had to go back and listen for that statement, I missed it the first time. Love it!!! And you have the cutest accent!! This was great!

Way to go! Thank you for doing this. I’m pregnant so won’t be doing this myself any time soon.
My aunt just died of Lou Gehrig’s disease a couple months ago. It was horrible. A year and nine months going back and forth between the hospital and the only convalescent home in the area that would take a person with a tracheotomy, being kept alive by blood transfusions. The horrible thing about it is that you are fully aware of what’s happening to you – your brain stays intact through pretty much the whole thing. She was an incredibly kind, patient, sweet, thoughtful, loveable person full of fortitude, courage, and utterly selfless. I know everyone speaks well of dead relatives, but seriously, this woman was amazing and a huge blessing to our family (she’s an in-law). When she and my uncle told our family the diagnosis (which takes some time to get, as it’s not easy to pinpoint) she said not to worry about her but to offer our prayers for people who are worse off than she is. I am CERTAIN she would not have wanted to be cured or treated at the expense of the lives of others (very strong Catholic).
Besides, how many successes have there been with embryonic stem cell research? ZERO that I have found. How many successes, for a variety of problems, with adult stem cells? Some 6 or 7 DOZEN and counting, right? Evil never makes any sense, really.
Way to go, Heather, way to go. Nice soapboxing : ).
Lmao the hashtag saves it
