I’m not much of a blogger anymore, obviously. It requires way too much time and effort on my part and to be honest, I guess at this point in my life I don’t really love writing as much as I love making things with my hands and being creative in other ways through my shop and through Zelie and Company. I love painting and drawing real art (not just stick figures) and stitching and making things for my shop. I love the challenge of it and I LOVE making money. My blog is fun, but I’ll be honest …my posts take a lot of work on my part and I do it for free. And that means less money for me to spend at Hobby Lobby and Target, which makes me very, very sad.
THAT DOESN’T MEAN I’M QUITTING. I PAY MONEY TO KEEP THIS BLOG GOING EACH YEAR, SO THIS THING WILL BE HERE AND I WILL EVENTUALLY DO SOME MORE POSTS.
Life is good. My husband and I are so busy kids and work and homeschooling, etc that at the end of the day, we’re pretty exhausted (like most parents). I have so many fun stories to share, but every time I go to blog them with my pictures they just take SO LONG to create that they eventually get abandoned and forgotten.
So until I finally get the kind of time I need to be able to write again, I figure I’ll just share with you a different creative endeavor of mine. Snapchat. I know, I know. How original! But man, those filters be callin’ mah NAME. Its like my own personal SNL. Sort of. I make up characters to go with each filter and then I just roll with it. Maybe I can share some stuff here and you can still have a laugh at my expense every now and then?In the meantime, you can also find me on Instagram at honeychildforest and zelieandco.
Here ya go:
UPDATE: those are not my real lips, people. And my face is not that wide, nor are my eyes that …bulging. I ain’t ridin the plastic surgery train or trying to turn myself into Cat Woman, for crying out loud. It’s only a filter. Just in case you were frightened. Just in case.
